it is what it is when you consider it is a 1946 generation rail section.
It works like a charm. it actually does what it was designed to do. However, if you don't wire it correctly it does not work. I'm not so sure about No. 716 and 717 as I don't have ether one of them.

It was, what it is, Pure instructions. Can't get any better than that.
The instructions were very original and it was in English! It even had the American Flyer logo on the instructions! Wow! it was like a blast from the past. It was so formative that I had no apprehension of not obtaining the needed result.

It is a well compact recorder player with multiple functions. It's lighter than a bowling ball.
I was elated that the record player could play a "wavy record" the tone arm has sufficient movement up and down to ride the "wave". Wave equals warped record. Sound is good. Does a good job converting to an MP3 sound file.
However, you need an additional software program to split connecting songs on a LP record.
The instructions are good but the printing is a little small. You need to do a bit of thinking to understand the instructions. Need to read them a few times to understand the instructions.
