Best price, but Siezed up

I'm not certain the AC compressor was the problem, or if it was because i left condenser and evaporator as was original, but it seized up. I replaced the accumulator and I flushed the system and blew it out with air the best I could. It made a lot of noise pretty quickly and within a week it seized. 1989 cadillac brougham.
