Be aware of the less-common male plug on this timer
1 of 1 found this helpful The plug (male) on this is a less-common NEMA 5-20P. The hot and neutral prongs are not parallel. One is 90° to the other. All that is depicted in the ad is the female 5-20R, which may be correct as this plug will fit, but not everyone will know that the plug will not fit a standard 5-15R. It would be best to make this clear to all buy showing a photo of the atypical male plug or make mention of this variation.
NEC wannabes will say you cannot use a 20A timer on a 15A circuit but this is simply not true.

A manual thermostat; no Autochangeover function.
This unit does not have Autochangeover!!
So, when it gets hot you have to select Cool Mode, then when it cools down ie at night, you have to select Heat Mode.
Not too convenient. Look for one with Autochangeover.
