May not fit your hole size or spacing so some rubber hose may be needed.

Not any better than the built in WiFi
Having owned several of these type devices, this is the worst one I've owned as it does not receive WiFi signals any better than the built in antenna in my lap top.

The hole is closer to 5/8" and will not energize a 1/2" stem on a solenoid.
