Bony Tek Quartz Alarm Clock
We were looking for a desk clock that was silent and attractive and this one fit the bill. Only time will tell if it is able to keep time for many years but so far it has. We do not use the alarm feature so can't comment on that.

easy to use, rids home of carpenter ants
Maxforce Carpenter Ant Gel always works for me in getting rid of carpenter ants. I just put a small dab in crevices where I see the most ants. I try to protect the gel from rain and sun so it will last longer. I use part of the tube and then a couple of weeks later apply it again for stragglers. The ants carry the gel back to their nest and feed it to the queen.
