Reliable and fast memory - Corsair is Corsair!
I used to buy other brands like Kingston, but this new corsair memory helped with at least 10% of speed during the boot of Windows 7 (Dell Latitude laptop) and during normal usage of programs (comparing with stock memory).
It also worked with a different memory module (I tested with another 4GB stock memory), but it was a bit slower, so I removed the 4GB one. I want to buy another 8G corsair module. By using the same model, it will perform much better.
The install procedure was the same with any other memory module. Just be careful not touching the metal areas directly due to static discharges.

Do well what its designed for, fit very well under a 'very loaded up' motherboard
2 of 3 found this helpful I like this product because it's flexible enough to be inside a full motherboard. Even with cards like GTX, that takes 2 pci lanes, I captured that hidden lane under the card with it.
Its a nice way to use all my x16 and x8 Pci-e ports, and the added IDE Power is a must when you feel your pci-e device (like another graphic card or a HyperX SSD) is a bit slow due to lack of power.
As I have another x4 and x1 ports, I need to buy two other risers, as the 16x one wont fit a smaller slot.
As we know that there is no known powerful card that takes the full PCi-e 3.0 power (that is, if you use a 2.0 slot, you feel no different at all), it doesnt matter if this riser is fully compliant to 3.0 or not. Even by using a 16x or 8x pci-e 1.0 slot, this riser wont destroy your graphic card speed in most games, as some benchmarks indicated. Perhaps up to 10% slower.
