Very good replacement brake set for the home gamer
1 of 1 found this helpful Came with everything needed. Rotors, pads, brackets for the pads, a tiny packet of grease, a bottle of brake fluid, and brake cleaner.
The rotors were really well packaged in plastic and coated with oil to prevent rust. Either use gloves or dont remove the plastic fully when installing.
The pads had a quarter size spot of what looked to be wax in the center of them. Not super sure what it's for, but I assume it's either to prevent seizing or to lap the rotors once installed
I was replacing brakes on a pretty rusted vehicle, where the brackets were completely rusted away, so it took a little bit to figure out what they were for and how to install them.
There weren't any instructions, other than the small diagram on the grease packet, which would have helped, but I got the job done as an amateur in my driveway.
