LEGO Games Pirate Code (3840)

Excellent entertainment.

It is hugely entertaining. It's very similar to master mind but the joy of playing with "jewels" makes it more exciting. The treasure chest and skeleton add to the charm. I find the game helps my child with focus and memory as we have to remember which guesses were incorrect. Plus as with all lego games the rules can be made up; so we end up formulating and noting down rules in an organised manner after the first few times we played it. My 6 yo loves the control she has over the game.

Rather good for strategy

Good game. Loosely like ludo. As with all lego games we can make up the rules and end up playing ruthless versions or rather tame, forgiving versions depending on who we play with. Would highly suggest that you make a copy of the stencil or laminate it so that it lasts longer- it could easily get tatty if you tend to play it over and over again like we do. It has also encouraged my 6 yo to read up extensively on Minotaurs and related myths.
