Had an initial problem that was tracked down to it being the wrong psu. The seller immediately sent the correct psu and the unit is working perfectly. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 128GB, Wi-Fi, 10.6in - Black

Buy now while still underrated!

Not the most popular thing when released, Microsoft have been quick to release further iterations and refine the formula, resulting in the slim, stylish and powerful Surface 4. But does that mean the older versions are old hat? Choose well, and the answer is a resounding no. Ok, so the battery life isn't up to all day use (perhaps more so on second hand models), and the keyboard might - just might - flex a bit. If you're being uber picky, the back is a bit industrial looking, and it could be considered thick and heavy (it isn't, it's reassuring build quality, but call it what you will). But these really are minor niggles. The screen positively glows, the keyboard in use is one of the finest on any small form factor computers with a really nice click feedback, and the i5 positively flies along on windows 10. The addition of a touch screen really adds to the experience, particular when doing internetting, and the pen is fantastic for editing photos etc. I'm not sure about lag or inaccuracy; I've installed the latest drivers, and this is as good as my Wacom graphics tablet was. And let's not forget, you get this for about £250. It's next to nothing, why by a new machine? This thing is a steal, buy now before people catch on!

Small powerhouse

Great battery life, stunning screen. Keyboard nicely spaced, if a bit cheap feeling. Runs very well, if not a huge hard drive, but as most of your stuff will be stored in the cloud thanks to in built office mobile, who cares? My go to university machine.
