Good but NOT the value I thought it was !

I THOUGHT this was an "Updated" model of thew MS ARC Mouse that I already have for use with my MS Surface Pro 7 ... It IS NOT! This model comes with a USB dongle that MUST be used in order for the mouse to connect to your device! This means that you MUST USE a USB port in order to connect! The original MS ARC mouse connect W/O a USB dongle allowing you to SAVE that PRECIOUS USB port for use with something else! For this reason ... the price was NOT the "Bargain" that I thought it was! This is Not a Bad product just not as functional as the original ARC Mouse!

DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED! IMPROVE THE SIGNAL!

This product needs to be improved to insure that the wireless connection is solid! I've tested with other colleagues while on ZOOM and the connection between the transmitter and receiver devises drops when only a few feet away! I'm a teacher and I wear a suit-coat while teaching. While LESS THAN 4 feet away with the Belt-pack attached the signal continued to drop! I had to place the belt-pack within 2-3 feet of the USB receiving device. Even within the 2-3 feet area, the signal would drop with the belt-pack just inside my suit- coat. (I'm not talking about a Big Heavy coat ... just s normal blazer! The signal is just too weak! This product ... GREAT IDEA—POOR EXECUTION! .
