Excellent Speaker!
It's sad that Sony has discontinued the high-end SRS line of speakers, which includes this model. Sure they were expensive, but they were worth every penny. Not heavy on bass, but it has excellent highs and every connectivity method you can imagine, AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Line In, USB In, and Bluetooth when you're not in range of your WiFi network. I keep all of mine in my network and they play in perfect synchronicity. Amazing with excellent sound.

Hefty, High-Resolution Network Speaker
I own the entire series and these Sony speakers are great. My favorite is this one, the SRS-X88. Excellent sound, nice bass, rich mids & very clear highs. This is a high-end speaker that used to retail for $400, and I can see why. This speaker is something that you buy for the long-term and it will serve you well. It's not meant to to pushed at maximum volume, and it works excellently as part of a multi-room wireless setup. There are a lot of options you can adjust using Sony's iOS app. I highly recommend this speaker!
