Just Like In The Videos
1 of 2 found this helpful The Avalanche really does work as advertised. I watched several YouTube videos before I got it and used it. As written in other reviews it is heavy, however, once you get it on the roof, the actual work to remove the snow is dramatically less than traditional roof rakes. I love that additional pole sections are available for purchase for more reach. The only real downer is that if it is windy, the plastic chute is difficult to manage and I worry about it catching on something and tearing. Be forewarned though if its calm out and you have a lot of snow on your roof, once you get this thing on the roof, the snow literally comes off the roof like and avalanche so you want to be ready.
