Inexpensive but very effective.
1 of 1 found this helpful Its about as inexpensive i would go on a thermal and is definately good quality. Can make accurate shots out to 100yds easily 200yds in perfect conditions but can spot animals and objects much further even in poor conditions. Good battery life. Easy to use.
Could use more documentation on how to use it but the manual is adequate to get started. Would like aftermarket options but stand alone works great. Slow startup and crosshair color defaults to white on startup.

Great Red Dot - hard to beat the value!
1 of 1 found this helpful Pros: Comparable to my aimpoint pro for 1/4 of the cost. Lightweight, different brightness settings works during day or night and automatically shutoffs off when set down. Bought a monstrum 3/4" picatinny mount and used the low profile attachments that came with the sig to get a 1/3 cowitness and an easy detach. If the lens was a little bigger it would function as well as an aimpoint pro but its still a close runner up. Not sure if its as tuff as an aimpoint but for the price I'm happy. Had it sighted in at 50yds within a couple of groups. Handles 5.56 carbine recoil just fine.
Cons: No quick detach from factory, only tiny torque screws = lame. I had to purchase a .75" picatinny mount so i would get the 1/3 witness and be able to get the red dot off in case of malfunction i would switch directly to iron sights. The monstrum picatinny mount has a hex nut that can be securely and readily tightened on and off. Also...
User manual says the motac motion activation... Should shut off the red dot around 2 min off no movement... But i found it takes like 10-15 min to shut off. Not sure why and actually like it but hope its not a sign of malfunction. Right now it still works great though i think it should closely match in function what the user manual says. Not sure what to think about it.
