Correct lens for 1981 300TD, but lens was received broken.
The lens had a small piece of it, about 1/4", broken off of its side. I think it was packaged this way (rather than damaged during shipping), because I didn't see the missing piece anywhere in the packaging.
I decided to put the lens in anyway because the broken piece doesn't show, I don't want to drive around with an exposed bulb, and returns can be a hassle. The lens would otherwise be great - looks just like the other one (slightly brighter since its new). Was very easy to install.
