Small heater, XXLarge Heat!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful I put two of these little heaters on the oil pan of my Caterpillar 3126 diesel engine, it took about 2 hours for it to substantially warm up from 22 degrees Fahrenheit and made starting easy ..., 2 hours is actually pretty quick considering the engine holds 28 quarts of oil!
I used a heat gun and steel scraper to remove the paint from the oil pan and then sanded the bare metal lightly with 150 grit sandpaper and wiped clean with acetone.
The 3M adhesive on the heater was easy and stuck tight to the bare metal on the oil pan.
I wired the power cords together to an old 12 gauge lamp cord and wrapped the connection with rubber (not plastic) electrical tape.
There was a slight discoloration to the pads immediately after they were first energized, but that stabilized quickly.
I have only had them on for a couple of days but I am hopeful they will work well and last a long time.

Gladys Knight is a great singer and an amazing person, a good read but she now has 20 more years to write about...., I'll look to see if she has another book out yet. This book is well written and tells a pretty revealing story, now I am very interested to know about the next years (1997-2019) in her life.

Rough & Tough
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this solar charger to charge camera, radio and lantern batteries, and also a 12 V 12 Ah utility camp battery on a canoe trip in the back country of Yellowstone Lake. It is lightweight, versatile, nearly indestructible and has a super thin profile making it easy to pack and carry around. It worked perfectly.
The clamp connectors and long leads (cords) work very well to connect to USB chargers, camera battery chargers, it charged every battery pack I put on it that required a 12 VDC charge or less. The clamps also have a full plastic shell making them difficult to short circuit.
I plan to buy more of these panels and highly recommend them to friends.
