Barbie Patriot Doll is great hands on American History teaching item
I bought this doll to help teach my granddaughters about American history. The bell can be used to discuss the history of the Liberty Bell etc. It is a beautiful doll and looks very patriotic. I not only want to teach patriotism and truth about America's founding beliefs in the God & Jesus Christ of the Bible, I also want to instill modesty and character. The way some dolls are clothed and have excessive makeup do not present an image of having integrity & character. The Patriot Doll is 100%.

Would not recommend this book. Kay Arthur's Bible Study much better!
Originally bought this book because it was recommeded as a good book to teach you how to read the Bible. Chapter 2: The Basic Tool:A Good Translation, was very upsetting. There is no factual evidence of the B.C.Septuagint. Produce an authentic verse in Greek of the Old Testament, written before (A.D.70)the time of Christ, that any New Testament writer quoted after the birth of Christ. We need to demand evidence before accepting what the world gives us as truth. Lies that are repeated often as truth are eventually not questioned and those that do question these lies are ridiculed. What is the Greek Septuagint and when was it actually written? Are the Septuagint manuscripts Sinaiticus, Alexandrinus, Vaticanus, and others that were written more than a hundred years after the New Testament Canon was written? Please take time to at least compare these two translations the KJV vs NIV. Look up Acts 4:27, 1 Tim. 3:16; Acts 20:28 Luke2;33;John 3:13 and there are many other verses where the NIV omits or changes the meaning of a verse. To call the Septuagint the reliable Greek translation (pg, 37) and all the other statements that are unreliable concerning what makes a good translation leads to distrust in the rest of the book. Who is the author of deceit and confusion? Do you think it is from the Lord to have over 200 different translations? Which translation does not have a copywrite and therefore it is not about making money? Authorized King James Version. Do you really think a version that produces a gender neutral Bible is from God? Do I think God can use these other translations for good? yes. But I also believe that deceivers loves these translations that subvert the truth of the deity of Christ etc. In the NIV, 2 Timothy 3:2...it says"without love". In the KJV, 2 Timothy 3:2...it says "without natural affection"... Do those mean the same thing? Enough said. I skimmed through the rest of the book and there are much better books/Bible studies than this. The one that has helped me the most is Kay Arthur Bible studies where she teaches you to study precept upon precept. She teaches to slow down an look for the Who, what, where and when and many other great teaching tools. Learning the culture of Biblical times is also included. What is really the purpose of using words like hermeneutical & exegesis? Kay Arthur's teaching is down to earth and all about focusing on God's word. Even though she uses the NASB,which is not a translation I would recommend, I respect her and her teaching methods and I do not condemn anyone personally who chooses to use those translations. I just ask people to please be aware of the differences in the translations, especially when it omits or changes the meaning of the Bible that takes away from the truth.
