    Self Centered
Richard Cole, was an insider with Led Zeppelin. He Could of given us more on how the music was conceved and created.instead he chose to write more about his self.his drug problems, marital problems.he could of given us more on the tours, how well Jimmy played,Robert sang, not much here on John Paul or Bonzo either.could of delved into the the equipment they toured with.did it malfunction?how about Pagey in the studio?the fights?sorta makes you wonder if he was in the inner circle at all,he writes as an outsider looking in.it's been over 30 years, and he's not going to step on any toes.there have been other books with more detail from writers who were not with them.

Zep, the way you want to read about them
this book is not only written well,it is written with humor,it contains the struggle of putting together a group, that would become the benchmark which other groups would be judged by.it doesn't dwell on the drug problems that just about all supergroups of the 70's had.or the fact that Page plus many other people at the time dabbled in black magic.seems every one in the 70's was looking for an answer.it was a screwed up time,so don't get caught up in it as others have, and miss the music of one of the greatest rock bands to ever emerge.
