1 of 1 found this helpful Deduct 1 Star - This is really an R12 set for stationary air conditioning with 2 R134a quick connect couplers. The yellow charging hose will not connect to a R134a can tap. R134a is commonly used on cars, and the picture in the ad shows the set being used on a car. To make the set work on a R134a car you need to buy a R12 to R134a adapter (inexpensive) for your can tap and vacuum pump.
Deduct 1/4 Star - The valve handles seem flimsy. If it breaks, I will used Gorilla glue to fix it.
Deduct 1/4 Star - No place place to "hang" the hoses. Could be a safety issue if a loose hose falls into a running engine. Be careful!
Deduct 1/2 Star - It seems like the standard hoses have a higher burst pressure, but the hoses in this set have a lower burst pressure. It is probably unlikely the average do-it-yourselfer will see excessive pressures, but it can happen. This could be a safety issue if someone is not paying attention. Just be careful and turn off the engine if you see excessive pressure.
Good things - sight glass, long hoses, handles multiple refrigerants (R134a needs an adapter), very good price

A great upgrade for your guitar if you are using cheap cables.
I was using an old Radio Shack curly guitar cable until it broke. While I was waiting for the Post Audio Cable, I was using the free cable that came with my guitar. I can tell you that my guitar and bass sound much better with the Post Audio cable. I can hear what I have been missing, and the signal is much strong. I really enjoy listening to my guitars more than before. At 20' long, I thought it was too long, but I like the extra length now.
I like the all metal jack construction better than the molded plastic jacks of the other brands. It really feels like quality and seems to be fit more snugly than the other cables I have. The 90 degree jack is great for my guitar because the jack won't poke me in the leg.
I don't know if buying more expensive cables would be better than Post Audio, but I suspect the difference in sound quality would not be worth it.
