A blast from the past.
1 of 1 found this helpful This game holds many great memories for me. Even though many NES games are chunky, hard and due to the lack of buttons had very limited gameplay options, certain games get it right. This game is one of those. It has decent graphics, for the day, and yes I know it's repetitive with only a couple modes but what matters most to me is one thing.....It's FUN! Pop it in for a couple minutes and you'll be smiling, and don't forget this game retailed back then at nearly $80!!!!! So buy it, you're getting a GREAT deal!

The Best War Series in the History of Television.
5 of 5 found this helpful I have watched many a War story and let me tell you nothing comes close to this true jewel of television history. If you think you know all there is to know about WW2 and have not seen this series you are truly missing something.
This series hits on all points of view. Yes there are many unbelievable, if not unforgettable, rarely seen images of war. Many of which are graphic in nature and emotion. Those images, coupled with the unwavering and masterful commentary of Laurence Olivier, guide you along the path of this very robust collection.
Its hard to even describe the depth of scope this series covers. Through each examination of combatant nations you see and feel what each country felt, desired, and believed. You almost can't help but feel compassion for all sides when you see what tremendous perils and losses every nation had to endure.
There are a lot of "cookie cutter" WW2 documentaries out there, but this series takes no shortcuts. This series shows a bluntly honest and true description of the most important war in the World's history. If you are looking for The standard in all war documentaries, let alone WW2, this is the series to own.

One of the Best TV series of all time!
2 of 2 found this helpful I love this series, it's not just all beat 'em ups, they actually make you think. There are a lot of important life lessons in these tails, a thing I think a lot of the new shows pass up on for the wow factor today. The third season is a bit more edgy than the previous two though, a lot of hallucination and weird imagry type shows. You can certainly tell the show was getting bigger though with cameos by bigger stars, like William Shatner, Jose Feliciano, and Barbara Hershey just to name a few. If anything the third season leaves you wanting more because of the way it ends, but alas this is what we got, the rest is left to imaginantion.
