Nearly perfect
A timeless book... Well, obviously calling anything "timeless" is a complete cliche' but for me personally, this book is pretty much top of the line. I've "loaned out" dozens of copies and they never find their way back to me... This is a good sign for the book itself, but a pain in the rear for me as I have been re buying this book for over ten years. In any case, this is one of Card's best works, though I must admit the brilliance of the story is only truly seen once you've plowed through the entire Ender quartet.
After that, you'll be hungry for more and thankfully Card has tossed out a few more Ender books...
Of course, this particular book is easily enjoyed on its own. To me this is the only downfall of the book itself. Though to most people, this is not a bad thing at all. I just cant help that I love Card's ability to create epics that leave the reader with no choice but to get their hands on the entire series.
In the case of this classic, you could read it through and never flinch at the thought of not getting the rest of the books that make up the "Enderverse."
Then again, if you actually do step into the next book you will find yourself completely trapped. You'll read them all.

Sort of works
3 of 4 found this helpful The T10-N is a fairly priced, and affordable thermal option. Unfortunately it does not perform well at all in the field. The product literature claims that this baby will give you a thermal readout up to 120m (131 yards) away. If this were actually true, then this product would be worth every penny. The real truth is that you will get a crystal clear picture of anything out to about 30 yards, if you are lucky. Anything past that point is going to be hard to see as the unit has a horrible flashlight beam effect across the middle of the screen that becomes more obvious at larger distances. Perhaps its just the cold weather, but the image in the product photo that shows a crystal clear treeline and an easily discernable group of animals is not at all what I see. In fact the image is so distorted due to the flashlight effect, that I cant tell a tree from the ground at ten yards.
As I mentioned, it may be the cold weather. I know that my flir scope has trouble adjusting to extreme temperatures and often turns out images that are too bright all around or too dark all around. Yet with this imager the center of the screen is so completely washed out that a coyote ten feet away was completely invisible, while on my flir it stuck out like a sore thumb.
Its nice to see the technology becoming more affordable, but in its current state this particular imager isn't going to be doing anyone much good.

The greatest chair ever
This is by far the most efficient, convenient and down right cool hunting chair I have ever owned. It is easy to move, doesn't make a sound and offers superb stability when shooting. The only drawback I have found is that it can be slightly difficult to find a stretch of ground that is flat enough to set it without hitting brush when spinning. But that's not really the chairs fault.
If I could change one thing it would be to shorten the height by about 6 inches. While the chair does fit in most pop up blinds it is just a few inches too tall.
