add a splash
I attached this to my tom bracket and it's perfect for a small crash or splash cymbal. Not too big or heavy. Easy to adjust. The memory lock keeps it where you want it.

It Fits
0 of 1 found this helpful This is a good choice for people with many drum sets and different hardware. This clamp can work with vintage tom posts of 9.5mm (old Ludwig's) as well as thicker arms like the new Gretsch. Be aware that the memory lock will not fit the 9.5.

Maximum Cut!
I wasn't sure about this snare when I first got it. I'd been using a Gretsch COB 5X14. But while recording the lead singer asked me if I had something with more cut. I set this one up and tuned it high and he just said "that's the one." I've used it on three gigs now with my blues band. It absolutely cuts through everything. A center hit is nice and solid and fat. The closer you get to the edge the more ring . Rim shots sound fantastic. It's not something I would use for a rock gig. I usually stay with my Bonham snare or a deep wood snare for those gigs, but for playing blues (especially a Texas shuffle and snappy accents) you can't beat this one. And the price is sweet.
