Disappointing for a 5
The physical book itself is very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. It will make a pleasing paperweight, but there's nothing really worth checking out inside the book.
The book is written like a daily devotional with a couple reflection-style questions at the end of each section. However, most of the writing feels like it was copy and pasted from one of the other enneagram types' books with splashes of style 5's unique qualities shoehorned into places. Also, I was unaware of the amount of religious focus that this book would have before purchasing. This may not be a problem for others, but I was very unsatisfied with the way the author's advice for improving yourself as a type 5 was to trust in a higher power. This goes back to what I mentioned previously, about how everything written in the book could apply to any of the other enneagram types.
If you are a type 5 thinking about purchasing this book, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Most of the information regarding 5's is ripped straight out of other enneagram books. So, if you've read "The Road Back to You" or a similar introductory enneagram book, then you've already read everything of value in Beth McCord's book.

Simple and fun button masher!
I loved Pokemon Rumble for the Wii, but I love the wholesome, simple story, addition of 5th generation pokemon, and the new moves that go along with Rumble Blast even more. I highly recommend this game to anyone who needs a little beat'em up stress reliever that can help them waste a few hours!
