The Brinkley Girls
I had no idea Nell Brinkley existed until I saw this new book being displayed in my local library. With curiosity, I checked it out after initially thumbing through it and taking a liking to the art inside. When I took it home and read about Nell and took a closer look at her art, I instantly fell in love with the book. Nell's story is inspiring and compelling to any woman interested in carving her own path in the art field and her art is whimsical, feminine, romantic, and doll-like. She pays a great deal of attention to cute faces and beautiful fashion. I had to purchase a copy of my own. My own copy is now one of my most prized possessions in my book collection.

Beautiful movie!
This movie is so artistic! It feels like one of those old Hollywood classics based on classic literary novels you can't get out of your head. Plus beautiful singing, dancing, costumes, and set design. I cried so hard at the final scene. I can't wait to show everyone in my family this movie so they can cry, too!
