Siemens 6SE6440 control
The Siemens 6SE6440 is a good product. HOWEVER, I have bought two of them on EBAY and even though they were "new in the box", both of them were built prior to 2007. They had been on the shelf at least 6 years! No one tells you that when you buy it. The one I just bought was defective from the start. The one prior to this one lasted 1-1/2 years. It should have lasted ten years. The reason is because they have laid on the shelf so long that the capacitors have lost their strength. I will ONLY buy this product from a Siemens distributor from now on.
