Replacement for PIF-275-19 / PIF-300 unit
7 of 7 found this helpful I did a lot of searching to see if this Guardian Petsafe collar would work with my existing non-guardian PIF-300 Petsafe unit. I couldn't really find anything that confirmed that it work 100% so I took a chance. I can now tell you with 100% certainty that it does work and works exactly the same except that the guardian collar only has 3 levels of static intensity plus 1 level of tone only. The beeping on our collar stopped be8ng audible after 3 years but still delivered static correction, which wouldn't be fair to my dog. Our dog doesn't test boundaries much though but still... He deserves to have a warning before being corrected and when he hears the tone he knows to stop. I'm glad this collar (GIF00-15173) works with our existing unit because it is literally half the price.
