sometomes the best tech from the past is better than the present
1 of 1 found this helpful sure. phones can now do amazing camera tricks. but an actual, physical camera has advantages. tripod mount. actual high intensity flashlamp. both of those built into the unit. delay timer. an abundance of exposure, shutter speed and image settings. SD1000 is one of the last cameras to also include an optical viewfinder. along with the, now standard, display panel. all this in a minute size package. small, light and easy to carry along. this camera wont get left in the house/car/suitcase for being too heavy or bulky. Actual physical buttons to control operation. Still my preferred way to take pictures.

generally a versatile mount with a small quibble.
1 of 1 found this helpful the niterider lumina I purchased came with a stretchy rubber strap style handlebar clamp mount. it is a bit fussy to move from bike to bike- particularly when the weather gets colder. I thought extra mounts for my other bikes would be the solution to shifting the setup around all the time. these screw tightened mounts are way more confidence inspiring to attach to the bars and align the beam. but for some reason, the light mounting rails allow the Lumina to wobble slightly when it is on the bar. I am thinking a little silicone lube placed on the center trough will create a "damping pad to minimize this.(if you try this, let the silicone cure before putting the light back on your mount.) otherwise, it performs as expected and was sold for a good price.

out of the norm show. music is inspiring to hear
discs play fine. price was good. this is a used copy, the plastic disc holder trays broke away from the board packaging. never seen that happen before . not too concerned, tho. I put the dvds into paper sleeves. the outer box keeps them secure.
