High quality and longest viewing time on the market!
I bought this player for my son in-law who is leaving for Afghanistan in January. I've been to Iraq myself awhile ago and no matter where one ends up the flights are very long. So this player has the longest playtime, but realistically you'll get about half that playtime, so I bought an extra battery for it. It should give him plenty of viewtime on those long flights to country and back. imua302

Tecsun R-808 is a poor quality radio
This radio is very nice from the outside but when you turn it on, all stations crackle doesn't matter with antenna up or down. I bought 2 Grundig Executive Traveller radios new, a week before which is the exact same radio but silver, and it plays very well all stations come in clear. Buyer beware. imua302
