New USB Type A Male to PS2 PS/2 Female Cable Adapter Converter Keyboard/Mouse

Works as intended

It's a widely-available generic adapter, available from many sources, but here with fast local shipping for just a couple of dollars more. Reviewers said it works with the ancient IBM AT keyboard that's my favorite, and indeed it does, so I'm happy. PS/2 plug fit was a bit tight and took some wiggling, so perhaps a bit sloppy on manufacturing tolerances, but as long as it works.
