Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Heat Shield
Definitely superior to metal heat shield and won't scratch your barrel and mag tube during disassembly. Installation was a snap, just don't over tighten the front retaining screws. The female connections on the front of the shield is brass reinforced (inserts), however, the rings are not and will flex out of square if over tightened (and potentially crack). Put this on, and ran 25 rounds of 3" "00" buckshot through the gun as fast as I could, the barrel got hot, the heat shield wasn't even warm. Once installed, the construction seems to be more than adequate to handle everything but the most severe abuse.

A Bit Expensive But In Stock
These are excellent clips, with a true 10 round capacity. Typical Magpul quality, very good. These can be found for $18.95, but I wanted one rather quickly, and the lower priced options like Academy were out of stock, so I went with this one.

Performs as Advertised
3 of 3 found this helpful Installation was snap, took me about ten minutes to remove the old stock (probably accounted for 7 of 10 minutes) and install the new. Like the fact that you can change grips and add any mil-spec tube sized stock (I chose a Magpul CTR with a Limbsaver recoil pad). Added a Millett red-dot, then took it out and ran 25 rounds of 3" "00" buckshot through it. Recoil reduction was amazing, more like shooting high brass bird shot. Kit contains everything you need, a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.
