I would recommend this book to any beginner to learn basic signs.
I purchased this book to help my nine month old son communicate with us. So far, it has been helpful, tho I have only used it for about a week now. The illustrations are pretty easy to understand, and the signs make sense. I look forward to the day when my son starts to use the signs. I find the book easy to read and it has lots of examples of when and how to use signs with your child. As a beginner, it is easy to learn the signs presented in this book.
