Buy the GENUINE Ford rod retainer clip, AVOID the fake Chinese junk
GENUINE Ford rod retainer clip is a perfect fit and is physically identical to the stock part that came on my Fiesta. The only difference is that it is a lighter shade of yellow and does not perfectly match the hood release latch shade of yellow. It's not very noticeable and most people won't notice. DO NOT BUY an imitation Chinese copy part, because the neck is thinner and will snap and also it won't seat properly in the retainer hole.
