Zildjian 14" Quick Beat Hi Hat Bottom

Put some air in your chik!

The QuickBeat Bottom is my go-to these days, because it produces a nice crisp chik when I close the hat using the foot pedal alone. Great for jazz, pop, ballads...any style where high hat subtlety is valued. Works great with New Beat and A Custom top hats.

Boston Acoustics VR3 Main / Stereo Speakers 2 available

VR3's are outstanding

I am a long-time fan of Boston Acoustics and their VR3's were perhaps their last great tower speaker design. They are 3-way towers with 2 woofers, a mid and a tweeter. The sound is deep, rich and balanced. And they deliver enough low end to effectively remove the need for a sub. Just use a decent power amp and you'll be set. Highly recommended.

Great live sets!

I've only gotten to listen to the first 2 discs so far, and I love them. The 2nd disc (Willin', Live 1976) is outstanding. The performance, recording and mix are just excellent. The 1973 recording isn't as good, but I do love hearing Linda at an earlier point in her career. You can clearly gear the strength and color in her voice developing. I will listen to the last disc soon. Expecting it to be the best of the set.
