Great value for your buck
1 of 1 found this helpful This truck comes packaged well and secured in the box . The option I got came with the battery and charger. Out of the box the battery is at storage charge and only took about an hour to bring it to a full charge . The transmitter requires batteries. This truck is well built . Although it is not quick it has plenty of torque and supplies massive power to the 2.2 size tires. Although the tires are a bit hard and could Benefit from some modifications ( removal of inner foam and removal of some tread blocks) The suspension flex is amazing .
Run time with moderate climbs and speed are about 30 minute on the conservative side . The turn radius is a bit lacking but can be modified to achieve a better turn rate. Also this truck can be upgraded to rear wheel steering with minimal added parts giving it (4) wheel steering . One negative aspect is the amount of wheel lift when power is added . But as with everything it can be fixed with minor mods or upgrades. This truck also benefits from moving the lower arms to the outer mounting holes. Lowering the height and center of gravity. All in all this is a great deal for the price . Will perform as well as other vehicles that come in at a much higher price point . This vehicle is water resistant and should not be completely submerged in water . I rated this truck at 4 out of 5 stars only because of the tires . A little softer and more aggressive tread and it would easily rate at 5 of 5 .
This truck will stand up to anything you put in front of it . And will last a long time if you truly drive it like a crawler and do not bash it around to hard or take hard falls . As this is true with all of the models on the market without major aluminum components. I highly recommend this truck for the price point .
