Bought as faulty.
Bought as faulty item but seem to be a easy fix as this seems to be a common problem with these headsets. Quick search on YouTube and plenty of help obvious with the right equipment.

Quick and simply connectors.
First thing people need to understand are these are clip connectors and in my opinion should NOT be used to high amperage equipment. Due to the current passing through them I would always used screw blocks. These blocks should only be used for lighting and other low amperage equipment that that will also not endure vibrations again this is only my opinion.

Didn't work with my camcorder
I can't really say anything about this remote as it does seem to work with my Sony camcorder.
