2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma Pickup Truck LED Tube Red Clear Tail Lights Brake Lamps
Jun 14, 2018
How Toyota Should've Designed the Tacoma Tail Lights to Begin With
I purchased these after the LED brake light on my Depo brand lights stopped working. Being less than $150 a pair, I wasn't expecting these lights to be all that great. However, when they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with how great they look! In my opinion, these lights are definitely a step-up from the stock lights in terms of appearance. The red lens is a nice, deep red and not pinkish like the OEM lights. I like it that these lights don't have the round "bulge" for the LED lamps light the OEM tails do, making the lights seem to fit the lines of the truck better. The only complaint I have is that I needed to use my Dremel tool to modify the hole for upper light plug as I wasn't able to get the light bulb harness to slip into the hole because one of the "splines" on the wire harness was larger than the notch in the hole (this will all make sense when you get the lights). It wasn't a big job to fix, but would be a pain if you don't own a Dremel. Note that the lights won't work properly unless you have them BOTH wired-up. I mistakenly started testing the driver's side light by itself and the light-bar wouldn't light-up, so I thought the lights were defective. Luckily, I decided to wire-up the passenger side light and then everything worked as expected. Also note that there are no DRLs (daytime running lights) with these tail lights. I have a DRL-only position on my '13 base model Tacoma light stalk, but no lights on my whole truck go on with that position. Going to the next notch on the light stalk turns on the light bars.
Side Sleeper Pillow J Shaped Contour Pillow 22 x 17 Inches

Too Thin for Me
Overall, the pillow is of decent quality, especially for $20. I like the shape of it as it does keep me from wanting to lay in a weird, twisted position. However, the pillow is a bit too thin for me. It would be nice if they made a thicker size. I'm a 6'1" male and even though I don't have broad shoulders, I find my neck is kinked in a weird position to accommodate sleeping on this thin pillow. As a result, the pillow has no use to me.
Sleep Mask by Bedtime Bliss - Contoured & Comfortable with Moldex Ear Plug Se...

Better, but Not Perfect
I originally started with a cheap WalMart sleep mask for $4 and quickly realized why it was cheap. Being completely flat, it felt like it was pushing my eyeballs into my skull. It had two thing elastic bands that slipped around at night and left marks on my head. In addition, the nose bridge dug into my nose, leaving another dent that took all morning to go away. The Bedtime Bliss resolved most of the issues I had with my WalMart special mask. The contoured shape left my eyes and eyelids free to move with no pressure. The band is wide and adjustable, and the nose bridge doesn't dig into my nose. However, I couldn't give it 5 stars as it's not 'perfect' (at least not for my head). The strap rests where my ears connect to my head and digs-in and causes a bit of irritation. In addition, because the mask is relatively stiff, if you're a side-sleeper like I am, it's pretty hard to get comfortable when sleeping on your side. So if you're a back sleeper, I'd say this mask is a winner. If you're a side sleeper, this mask might not be the right mask for you.
