1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this because it is an excellent work that did not get the acclaim it deserves by one of my oldest heart throbs.. Natalie was taken from us early and is the true spirit of america and hollywood combined.. We will alway's miss her.

American Grotesque
This book is well written and it does state many aspects of the Garrison investigation that many people aren't aware of. The author subscribes his perspective that Jim Garrison did not have any ryme of reason to prosecut Clay Shaw. I would disagree with this basic reasoning. His perspective is as one sided as he thinks Mr. Garrison's is. I would say though that the information is good and his writing skills are definately good. I would recomend this book but also feel the person reading it might do well to read Rush to judgement or Conspiracy by Anthony Summers either of thos books might provide some balance.
