Not up to par with his other books
2 of 2 found this helpful I love Augusten Buroughs! He has lived such an intereting & tragic yet exciting life. I found this book to be a repeat of some of the topics covered in his other books but also found his relationship with his father to be extremely sad. Sometimes we don't get the parents we dream of.

Magical Thinking-Magical Book
I LoVe Augusten Burroughs! His writing is humouous. It gives you a glimpse into the life of a dysfunctional child/adult. (and aren't we all) The way he describes things leaves me in awe as to how someone can think up the way he can describe something. I first read his book Running With Scissors & enjoyed it so much that I went out and bought his 3 other books. I have enjoyed them all & so has my husband.

Enjoying this CD
Needed this CD for music for a prison retreat my husband and I will be directing. Needed it for 1 song, but have come to enjoy several of the songs.
