Just as good on a PS3 as on any later platform

Does what it says
It does the job, but don't expect heavy duty build quality.

OEM equipment
This is the clear version of the original Sony DUALSHOCK 4 V2 wireless controller for PS4. As such, it comes with all the features, strengths and downsides of the original. The main benefit of a clear case is that it should make major failures in the electronics easier to spot from the outside, but with the opaque cases this was always a screwdriver away. It's really about being able to see the battery delaminate, and replace that quickly, rather than going through the rigmarole of checking to see if the PS4 ports are charging properly, etc.
