2005 Nissan Quest
I have had the Quest for over two months now and so far, Im satisfied. The power of the engine is quite responsive. When ever you push the pedel, the engine responds with much power. The draw back of that is the gas mileage. I have gotten 15 mpg in the city. The highway mileage is great. It rides extremely well and with the leather package, the Bose sound system is incredible. It is a plus to have the DVD for obvious reasons. I only have one screen which I don't mind because the screen for the second row is really close to your face. The only thing is that like other Quest owners, there is this engine noise that again...Nissan can't seem to figure out what the cause is. I bought the van looking for it...it's noticeable but some may not hear it and just think thats the way the engine sounds.
There is more than enough space for adults to sit comfortably. The sits are almost as comfortable as the chairs you sit in at home. I took it to NC and it was like a ride in the park. Couldn't have been more pleased.
The lowest point for the Quest is the Craftsmanship. The center console components feel cheap. The storage bin, ashtray, cupholder, storage area in front of the driver, are all of low quality. They feel flimsy. I thing the DVD should have been placed further under the seat so that the RCA connections won't get damaged. Overall, Im really satisfied with the Quest. I love the way it looks. I like the grill better than the newer model. The center console has grown on me and I think as the years pass by, I think that more people will become accustom to what was a "radical redesign". Im just glad I already have one.
