All around DX gem! Must have for all Nikon D3xxx/D5xxx owners!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you own a Nikon DSLR that is the smaller 'DX' sensor, this lens is a must have! High quality, fast focusing and all around great lens for the under $500 category. It replaces a whole bag of lenses and is highly recommended from one amateur to the next.
Pros:
-Great focal range
-Includes caps and hood
-Internal image stabilization
-Internal focus motor
-Manual focus override
-'Solid' build
Cons:
-Pretty hefty, can feel out of balance on the D3xxx or D5xxx series DSLR's
-Lens sometimes zooms when held facing the floor
-72mm filter ring is okay, however non-standard. Most lenses like this should be 77mm.
Overall:
Focal Range: 10/10 - Great
Focus Speed: 8/10 - Fast
Compatibility: 10/10 - All DX cameras, FX too, with some vignetting
Build Quality: 8.5/10 - Metal mount, quality feel
Image Stabilization: 9/10 - Nikon's VR system is great
Aperture: 7.5/10 - 3.5/f is the largest stop, sufficient for this 'do-it-all' lens

A landmark biblical resource
2 of 2 found this helpful This edition is excellent. It combines 4 well accepted editions of the bible (OT/NT) in a beautiful 4 way format, displaying chapter by chapter across each page fold. Great for discerning the meaning of passages between these 4 versions in a easy to view fashion. It surely beats pulling out each version, looking up the passage or chapter and then comparing. Here we have all four laid out before you so you can easily do studies on the Word.
Book is rather large, perhaps a library addition. I dont see this book being one i will carry often. It is a quality bound book, paper is good quality and the typeface is generous in size, making it a pleasurable read.
