Speedloader may be a misnomer but it is helpful
This item helps keep your fingers from getting sore if you do a lot of shooting. It's most effective for loading the last couple of cartridges after the magazine follower spring has been compressed close to the max. I can't say that it has improved the speed of loading magazines because it requires about 3 steps to actually get a cartridge loaded in the mag after inserting the mag into the loader. 1) press down on the loader so that the "plunger" pushes the follower (or previous cartridge) down out of the way; 2) slide a cartridge into the gap at the top of the mag created by step 1; 3) let the mag slide down (or the loader slide up) to a point that the newly loaded cartridge can be pushed all the way back under the plunger and fully into the mag. I haven't practiced with it a lot so, maybe some people can load faster if they use it a lot and can get into a rhythm with it.

I still had some of the original cup hangers for my punch bow and these were a perfect match in color and shape.
