My only gripes are that the description did say the guitar was perfectly set up which it definitely wasn’t. There was a lot of buzzing on the lower frets which has required my own set up. The volume pot on the guitar is also a bit noisy.

Fantastic Compact Player
1 of 1 found this helpful Absolutely fantastic thing. Needed something to play my large CD collection and had the idea of hooking this up to my mini-amp to keep things compact. Not needed! It's sound quality is all there complete in this dinky sized, conveniently designed box and so you can place it anywhere (tho it's not battery powered). I have connected it to the amp and my hi-fi speakers but only marginally better sound. Worth trying all the eq options and Bass Boost to get the sound you want.

If There Is Something
This book was not what I expected. It was 2nd hand and cheap and so bought without any consideration or investigation. As if any would be needed by someone who considers this album a seminal moment in their life. I have the vinyl, the cd, deluxe cd dvd mp3... 2hb
It covers, in depth, just the prelude to the the album. Mainly Ferry's life and influences but lots on McKay and Eno and does cover Manzanera and Thomo. Even Graham Simpson who was more of a figure than I'd ever known.
So not the poptastic homage choca-block with interesting facts about the time in studio or chapters on individual tracks, rows, fights, jealousies, drugs and women. Just an honest well researched read that educated me on that time period from my birth (late 50s) to the whoosh into the early 70s.

Good Copies
I bought these for my 2nd lot of replacement cartridges. The 1st replacements had been none- HP and had done a good job. All I can say so far is that these have been easy to install and changed my fading images to bright and perfect print-outs. I'm confident enough that they will last as long as genuine manufacturer cartridges and are at a fraction of the price.
