Beautiful, Durable Cutting Board-- Worth the Price!
The Proteak rectangular cutting board (20x15x1.5") is an outstanding addition to my kitchen. Its large surface makes working with fruits and vegetables a breeze. (I use a different cutting board for raw meats.) But you could easily choose to use the Proteak board for meats as well. The wooden surface is gentle to the sharp edges of your knives, prolonging their life. In addition to its durability and quality craftsmanship, the teak wood is visually beautiful making the experience of preparing food extremely pleasurable. Before using it, I treated the board with food grade mineral oil to prolong the life of the wood. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and have no reservations recommending this cutting board. It is not an inexpensive purchase, however I suspect it will last longer than cheaper boards which would need to be replaced more frequently. it's a very good investment, worth every penny!!!!
