This book is great for the novice or expert!
If you need a straight forward, intelligent guide for all your wine needs, this is it. Ratings are by price, quality, value, even how well the wine keeps after it is opened. As the author says, "it is extremely extravagant to throw away wine", but some wine does not keep. I now feel no fear drinking one or two glasses and re-corking for 2-3 days with the simple rating system in Robinson's book.
The day after the book came I went through a local ad in the paper, picked out the best wine for the best price and am armed to fearlessly buy several bottles that are on sale for much less than the national average price listed in the guide.
I highly recommend Robinson's "2008 Wine Buying Guide for Everyone"!

Watch Repair Kit
This kit is a good value for the quality - basically a non-pro, hobbyist level. Instructions for the Back Case
Press would be very helpful - had to look on YouTube to figure out how to use it correctly. Most other items in kit are self-explanatory. The smallest link remover was broken out of the box - the small metal
rod was missing from the handle. All other pieces were in working order. When buying look closely at
pictures and description to make sure the kit you order is the one you want - there are many variations.

OXO GreenSaver Charcoal Filters
I have used the OXO GreenSaver containers that use these charcoal
filters for several years and they are great. The filters are well worth
their replacement cost - they are the most import part of the system.
No more do I have to waste money on produce gone bad!
