No software, machine still not functioning.
I purchased the product based upon the reputation of HP. I understood that the scanner was a reconditioned scanner and that it was of an older design where now scanners are part of multifunction machines, scanners, printers and fax machines.
One of the main reasons for purchasing this model was that the software and drivers were to be included on a c/d disk. The disk was not included in the box.
I have had to down load the drivers from the internet. Unfortunately, the drivers and software will not download to allow the machine to function at this time.
I may have to purchase the software on a c/d separately from HP.
In all, I am quite disappointed in this purchase.

Battery review
1 of 1 found this helpful The battery test program in the HP diagnostics says that this battery needs to be replaced due to failure. The original battery showed when the discharge was almost empty and gave a warning to plug in the adapter. This battery just fails without warning and the computer shuts down.
