Okay for a small trackball.
First, about the trackball itself. The size is a bit larger than regular mouse but you can still cup it in your palm just like holding a regular mouse. The trackball is cradled in its cup , restrained by a rubber lip , so it won't fall out when upturned. The scrollring is very smooth and easily the best feature of this trackball.
The trackball is large enough to be handled by both index and middle fingers, leaving ring finger for the scrollwheel.
The included wrist rest doesn't have a mechanism to lock tightly with the trackball. It's also not comfortable to use, personally. The trackball without wrist rest is fine because the mouse is not very big and the upward slope is not steep.
Compared to it's bigger brother, Kingsington Trackball Expert Mouse, the orbit wins in scrollwheel operation but not by much. But in the precision department, Expert Mouse wins hands down because of the much bigger ball, resulting in more stability for fine movement.
The build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The material feels cheap. The button clicks are not satisfactory but functional.
The orbit is by no means a bad trackball. The buttons are clicky and their placements are great. I would recommend this trackball for ones who start to familiarize themselves with trackball. For serious users, I recommend Kensington Expert Trackball mouse.

Great DE Razor
- Perfect weight for me
- Not too aggressive. Less chance of cutting myself.
- Easy to clean the blade. Just turn the handle to loosen up and rinse.
