Good Phone - NOT WATER PROOF OR MILSPEC!!
0 of 1 found this helpful This phone is a decent phone all around however, it fails in one major area. This phone IS NOT rugged and water proof thus it IS NOT military specification. The back battery door barely sits in place when the metal lock ring is turned. I can stick my finger nail under the bottom portion and with very slight force pry the battery door off. I mean VERY slight force. The battery door doesn't even have a rubber seal to keep water out of the most vital area of the phone. Even if the door had a great fit, I don't see how it would still be able to keep water out. Not impressed with the design of this phone...
It shouldn't be called the Rugby. It gives the impression that it's a tough phone. Maybe the Samsung Figure Skate would have been a better name.
