One of the few worthy replacements of the much-vaunted Nikon 24-70.
2 of 4 found this helpful This lens, shall I say, is equal but different than that of its closest competitor, the Nikon 24-70 VR-based E or G lens.
Image wise, it performs better than the Nikon at some magnifications than at others. It also has its own proprietary vibration reduction called Vibration Control (VC). Some say the Nikon focuses faster, however, I have absolutely no complaints with the responsiveness of the Tamron. The reports suggest some vignetting on the Tamron that the Nikon doesn't have, but I haven't noticed any personally.
Feel free to scour Youtube for more comparisons; there's plenty out there. You'll see that the Tamron is very much a worthy replacement for Nikon lenses. Price to feature wise, the Tamron can't be beat at the moment.

A must for the discerning DJ
Simple, durable and does the trick. Fits like a glove. Recommended for anyone that owns a compatible device. Nothing more need be said.
