Retired from Fraser Paper in Northern Maine after 35 years. Moved to southern Maine to be where it's a LITTLE warmer. Did ALOT of outdoor sports up there and i still go up to see friends and family and to enjoy the outdoors..

I find this radio, once you've figured it out, to be the one I use the most. I have owned many and right now I have a Sony 7300, Panasonic RF-2200 and a brand new in the box, another Eton E-10, from which I had to look at the owner's manual to figure out the alarm on this one. NO SSB :-(, but this radio is my favorite one to grab ( right now anyways.) Find a used one under $75, buy it. Great sound. Great reception (all bands) and easy to carry. 5 stars for what this little guy can do. 5 plus if it had a usb/lsb switch like the Sony 7300.
