Huawei F256VW - Black Home Phone Connect Device (Verizon Wireless)

Great for Seniors

I purchased this device for a family member who is in a nursing home, it is just a base unit and you plug your own phone into it. This works great for a senior citizen, simple, and they cant loose it since it is not a small cell phone. One more thing, my neighborhood has horrible Verizon coverage but this unit works just fine in my house, probably since it has a better antenna. Verizon added it to my existing plan for $20/month. It has unlimited calling (including long distance). Eventually I will replace my 100% reliable land line with this unit and then it can come along with us in our camper on long trips. Also, I paid about 1 fifth the price for a new unit using Ebay instead of the Verizon store.

Fits nicely.

Installed it on a calm day. Used a long pole and a couple of helpers. It originally looked too big for my 25.5 foot rig, but it fit perfectly. Side zipper allows me to get back inside after tying it up tightly. Some sun shine works its way through the white porous top, this will let my roof solar collectors charge my house batteries while in storage. It came with wheel covers, but I already had a better set of them anyway.
